Scenic Rim Adventure Park

The Scenic Rim Adventure Park, situated on a 680-acre property at Tamrookum Creek, offers 14 bush camping areas for those who enjoy a back-to-basics, self-sufficient experience. Each campsite is equipped with campfire pits, and bags of cut wood are available for purchase. However, the park does not offer powered sites, and access to most campsites requires a 4WD vehicle. There are two areas accessible for 2WD vehicles and non-off-road caravans.

Campsites vary in size, with some suitable for large groups and others more secluded and intimate. Each site is within walking distance of dry chemical or compost toilets. If you need a hot shower, you’ll need to drive back to the main car park, where they are available from 7 am to 5 pm.

For those in your group who prefer not to camp under canvas, the main house offers two queen-sized bedrooms for hire, each with external access. There is also a shared bathroom with external access.

The park enforces a no-glass beer bottle policy, but cans can be left in the collection basket at the office. As there is no garbage service on-site, visitors are asked to take their rubbish home with them.

Pets are welcome, provided they are kept on a lead at all times. It’s recommended to bring a long rope to create a runner between trees while you’re in camp. The property is home to a variety of wildlife, including some endangered species.

Offers rooms with external door access only, each featuring a queen-sized bed with provided linen. The rooms are equipped with an electric jug, toaster, mugs, and glasses. A shared bathroom, also with external access, is located next to the rooms.

Many guests spend their days with friends who are camping and return to the comfort of their room to sleep at night.
