Mountain View Retreat is a hosted stay available through Hipcamp, situated on a serene 5-acre property near Samford Village. The campsite offers power and water facilities, providing campers with stunning mountain and water views. Evenings can be enjoyed around the campfire, subject to local fire restrictions.

The site is perfect for self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet and shower. Rubbish disposal facilities are available if needed. To connect to power, you’ll need a 15A to 10A power adaptor or 15A power leads. Some levelling may be required. For those needing laundry services, a laundromat is available in the nearby village.

Samford, located 22km northwest of Brisbane, is nestled in the mountainous Samford Valley, with the South Pine River running through it. The area boasts an extensive network of trails for hiking, walking, biking, and horse riding, all accessible directly from the property. Additional amenities include a tennis court, tank water, and the allowance of campfires.

The property is home to resident horses, geese, chickens, and friendly Labradors. Pets may be permitted upon negotiation, though it’s important to note that the property is not fully dog-secure, as the hosts’ dogs are contained by a hidden fence system.
