Since April 2017, owners Trish and Murray Wilson have lovingly created a welcoming haven featuring two exquisitely designed self-catering studios. These accommodations are perfect for romantic getaways, as well as retreats with family or friends.

The scenic drive through Flying Fox Valley, nestled between Binna Burra and Lamington National Parks, is sure to captivate, offering a glimpse into why so many visitors return to this idyllic destination.

Guests can explore the property on foot, soaking up stunning landscapes, picturesque vistas, and the rich wildlife that inhabits the farmland, creek, and dam. Alternatively, they can relax in the thoughtfully landscaped gardens surrounding each studio.

The property is a sanctuary for various seasonal birds, including sea eagles, wedge-tailed eagles, parrots, and pigeons, along with bush wallabies frequently spotted in the area.

For those looking to venture further afield, the region offers an abundance of activities, from vibrant country markets and events to local vineyards and access to nearby National Parks, all within a 45 to 50-minute drive from Country Mile Escape.

The Shay
The Shay is the perfect choice for couples seeking a romantic boutique getaway amidst the serene hills of Flying Fox. This elegant studio features a luxurious king-sized bed and a stunning soaking bathtub offering private views. Designed with an open-plan layout, The Shay includes a fully equipped kitchenette, a spacious dining area, and a comfortable lounge. Guests can unwind on the veranda with a glass of wine while admiring the picturesque scenery. The studio is well-appointed with amenities such as a coffee machine, television, fireplace, barbecue on the veranda, and an outdoor chimenea.

The Aerial
The Aerial is a spacious and private self-catering accommodation designed to comfortably host up to four guests, making it ideal for families with children or two couples.
