Lake Gkula Camping & Glamping

Lake Gkula Campground is nestled within 500 acres of bushland at Woodfordia, just an hour north of Brisbane.

Lake Gkula Camping Weekends are available only during the Autumn/Easter school holidays and the September school holidays, as the site hosts major festivals outside these periods. The property is exclusively open to booked campers during these designated weekends and the ticketed festivals.

Guests at Lake Gkula Camping have the option to reserve the on-site luxury glamping tents or to set up their own campsites around the lake. There’s plenty of space to spread out, whether you prefer to relax under the shade of the trees or participate in a variety of exciting self-led activities such as bushwalking, lake swimming, and bike riding through the diverse and ecological landscape. Additionally, a programme of sunset concerts, workshops, and activities suitable for all ages is available.

As a registered Land for Wildlife site, visitors during the Lake Gkula Camping Weekends will have the opportunity to encounter many of the beautiful animals that inhabit the area, including echidnas, kookaburras, wallabies, goannas, and more.
