Overview
Established in 1884, Beenleigh Artisan Distillery holds the title of Australia’s oldest continuously operating distillery. More than 130 years on, they continue to produce rum in the traditional “boutique” style from their original stone building on the Albert River’s banks. They use only the finest Australian molasses sourced from the nation’s last family-owned sugar mill and employ some of their original copper pot stilling equipment.
Visit the distillery to explore its rich history and learn how their master distillers create top-quality, award-winning rums through a tour and tasting experience. Alternatively, unwind in their well-stocked restaurant, offering award-winning wines, local craft beers, spirits, Tex-Mex inspired dishes, and their signature craft distilled rum.
