Streets Beach is a standout attraction in South Bank and a must-see when exploring the expansive 17-hectare South Bank Parklands. As Australia’s only inner-city, man-made beach, it features a stunning blue lagoon, bordered by soft white sands and lush sub-tropical plants, creating a true oasis in the heart of Brisbane.
Adjacent to Streets Beach are two additional water attractions – the Boat Pool and Aquativity, an engaging water-play park designed especially for children.
This iconic beach is free to access and patrolled by qualified lifeguards year-round. However, lifeguard hours vary seasonally, so it’s recommended to check with the South Bank Visitor Centre for the latest patrol schedule.
