Experience the timeless elegance of Brisbane’s iconic Tivoli Theatre, where stunning art deco charm meets world-class performances from legendary artists.
Brisbane’s most beloved music venue, The Tivoli Theatre, has a rich and fascinating history.
Originally constructed in 1917 as Adams Bakery, the building later served as a repository for rare books for the State Library. However, during the vibrant atmosphere of Expo ’88, Ann Gams acquired the property and transformed it into The Tivoli Restaurant and Theatre, drawing inspiration from the iconic Paradis Latin cabaret theatre in Paris, established in 1803.
Today, The Tivoli preserves its exquisite art deco design and timeless charm, earning acclaim as one of Australia’s most stunning performance spaces. Over the years, its stage has hosted legendary artists such as Bob Dylan, Silverchair, and Taylor Swift, among many others.
